- Shelf Life Test: Stored at 1052 for 1000+48/0 hours. Criteria include limits on leakage current, capacitance change (20%), tan (200% of specified value), and no electrolyte leakage.
- Surge Test: 1000 cycles of charge (305s) and discharge (5 min 30s) with a surge voltage. Criteria include limits on leakage current, capacitance change (15%), tan, and no electrolyte leakage.
- Vibration Test: 10Hz ~ 55Hz, 1.5mm peak to peak amplitude for 2 hours in 3 directions. Criteria include no intermittent contacts, open/short circuits, or damage.
- Solderability Test: Soldering temperature 2453, dipping depth 2mm, dipping speed 252.5mm/s, dipping time 30.5s. Minimum 95% surface coverage required.
- Resistance to Solder Heat Test: Immersed in solder bath at 2605 for 101 seconds or 40010 for 3+0-1 seconds. Criteria include limits on leakage current, capacitance change (10%), tan, and no electrolyte leakage.
- Change of Temperature Test: 5 cycles of temperature changes (-40/-25 to +105). Criteria include limits on leakage current, tan, and no electrolyte leakage.
- Damp Heat Test: 5008 hours at 402, 90~95% RH. Criteria include limits on leakage current, capacitance change (20%), tan (120% of specified value), and no electrolyte leakage.
- Vent Test: For products with vent ( 6.3). DC test with reversed polarity. Criteria include vent operation with no dangerous conditions.
- Maximum Permissible Ripple Current: Maximum AC current at 120Hz and maximum operating temperature. Frequency and temperature multipliers provided.
