Capacitance Measurement Conditions
- Measuring Frequency: 120Hz 12Hz
- Measuring Voltage: Not more than 0.5Vrms

Leakage Current Measurement Conditions
- Connect the capacitor with a protective resistor (1k 10) in series for 5 minutes, then measure Leakage Current.
tan Measurement Conditions
- Refer to Capacitance measurement conditions (120Hz, 202, not more than 0.5Vrms).
Terminal Strength Test Conditions
- A static load of 25N (2.5kgf) applied to the lead wire terminal in the axial direction away from the capacitor body for 30s.
Temperature Characteristics Test Conditions
- Steps include testing at 202C, -40(-25)3C, 1052C, and returning to 202C, with time for thermal equilibrium at each step.
Load Life Test Conditions
- According to IEC60384-4 No.4.13 methods. Stored at 105C 2 with DC bias voltage plus rated ripple current for specified load life hours. (Sum of DC and ripple peak voltage shall not exceed rated working voltage). Tested after 16 hours recovery time.
Shelf Life Test Conditions
- Stored with no voltage applied at 1052 for 1000+48/0 hours. Stabilized at room temperature for 4~8 hours. Connected to a series limiting resistor (1k100) with D.C. rated voltage applied for 30min. Discharged and tested.
Surge Test Conditions
- Applied surge voltage to the capacitor connected with a (100 50)/CR (k) resistor. 1000 cycles of 30 5s charge, followed by 5 min 30s discharge. Test temperature: 15~35. (CR: Nominal Capacitance (F)).
Vibration Test Conditions
- 10Hz ~ 55Hz frequency range, 1.5mm peak to peak amplitude, sweep rate 10Hz ~ 55Hz ~ 10Hz in about 1 minute, for 2 hours in each of 3 mutually perpendicular directions. Capacitor must be fixed in place with a bracket.
Solderability Test Conditions
- Sn-Cu solder. Soldering temperature: 2503C, Dipping depth: 2mm, Dipping speed: 252.5mm/s, Dipping time: 30.5s.
Resistance to Solder Heat Test Conditions
- Terminals immersed into solder bath at 2605 for 101 seconds or 40010 for 3+0/-1 seconds to 1.5~2.0mm from the body. Left under normal temperature and humidity for 1~2 hours before measurement.
Change of Temperature Test Conditions
- Temperature cycle: 5 cycles of (1)+20 (3 Minutes), (2)Rated low temperature (-40 or -25) (302 Minutes), (3)Rated high temperature (+105) (302 Minutes).
Damp Heat Test Conditions
- According to IEC60384-4 No.4.12 methods. Exposed for 5008 hours in an atmosphere of 90~95% RH at 402.
Vent Test Conditions
- Applies to products with a vent. DC test: Capacitor connected with reversed polarity to a DC power source. Current selected from Table 2 based on diameter (22.4mm: 1A, >22.4mm: 10A).
Maximum Permissible Ripple Current Conditions
- Maximum AC current at 120Hz. Sum of DC voltage and peak AC voltage shall not exceed rated voltage and shall not reverse voltage. Frequency multipliers and temperature coefficients provided in tables.
