- Terminal Strength: Withstands a static load of 25N (2.5kgf) in the axial direction for 30s without damage or intermittent contact.
- Temperature Characteristics: Tested at various temperatures (-40, 20, 105). tan and leakage current within specified limits. Impedance ratio at -40 (-25) relative to +20 specified.
- Load Life Test: Tested at 105C 2 with DC bias voltage plus rated ripple current for 2000 hours. Characteristics (leakage current, capacitance change, tan, appearance) must meet specified requirements.
- Shelf Life Test: Stored at 105 2 for 1000+48/0 hours without voltage. Characteristics measured after stabilization and DC rated voltage application.
- Surge Test: 1000 cycles of charge (305s) and discharge (5 min 30s) with applied surge voltage.
- Vibration Test: Tested for 2 hours in 3 mutually perpendicular directions (10Hz ~ 55Hz, 1.5mm peak to peak amplitude).
- Solderability Test: Terminals immersed in Sn-Cu solder at 2503 for 30.5s. Minimum 95% surface coating quality required.
- Resistance to Solder Heat Test: Terminals immersed in solder bath at 2605 for 101s or 40010 for 30.1s.
- Change of Temperature Test: 5 cycles of temperature variation (-40 to +105).
- Damp Heat Test: 5008 hours at 90~95% RH and 402.
- Vent Test: For products with vents, tested with reversed DC polarity. Vent operates without dangerous conditions.
- Maximum Permissible Ripple Current: Maximum AC current at 120Hz and maximum operating temperature. Frequency and temperature multipliers provided.
