  • Load life test: Performed at 105C 2 with DC bias and ripple current for specified duration. Criteria: Leakage current within specified value, capacitance change within 25%, tan not more than 150% of specified value, no electrolyte leakage.
  • Shelf life test: Stored at 1052 for 1000+48/0 hours. Criteria: Leakage current within specified value, capacitance change within 25%, tan not more than 150% of specified value, no electrolyte leakage.
  • Surge test: 1000 cycles of charge/discharge with surge voltage applied. Criteria: Leakage current not more than specified value, capacitance change within 15%, tan not more than specified value, no electrolyte leakage.

  • Vent test: Applies to products with vent (diameter 6.3). DC test with reversed polarity. Criteria: Vent operates with no dangerous conditions.
