- Ensure operating conditions (temperature, ripple current) are within catalog specifications.
- Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are polarized; avoid reverse or AC voltage. Use non-polar types for circuits with potential reverse polarity.
- Do not use in circuits requiring rapid/frequent charge/discharge without special design capacitors.
- Peak voltage (DC + ripple) must not exceed rated voltage.
- Outer sleeve is not insulated; consider insulation requirements for applications.
- Avoid exposure to water, brine, oil, toxic gases, ozone, UV, radiation, and severe vibration/shock.
- Maintain proper clearance above the capacitor's safety vent.
- Soldering conditions must be within SAMXON's specifications (Pb/Sn and Pb-free types).
- Do not clean with halogenated cleaning agents.
- Store capacitors at 5C to 35C,
