SAMXON RT Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are polar, foil-type capacitors designed for use in electronic equipment. These capacitors meet IEC60384 standards and are constructed with a single-ended design, featuring an aluminum case impregnated with electrolyte and sealed with end seal rubber, finished with a vinyl sleeve. They are suitable for applications requiring reliable performance across a wide temperature range.

General Characteristics:

  • Change of Temperature Test: 5 cycles of temperature changes (-40/-25, +105). Criteria: Leakage current not more than specified, tan not more than specified, no electrolyte leakage.
  • Damp Heat Test: 90~95% RH at 402 for 5008 hours. Criteria: Leakage current not more than specified, Capacitance Change within 20%, tan not more than 120% of specified value, no electrolyte leakage.
  • Vent Test: For products with vent (diameter 6.3). DC test with reversed polarity. Criteria: Vent operates with no dangerous conditions.
  • Maximum Permissible Ripple Current: Maximum AC current at 120Hz and maximum operating temperature. Frequency multipliers provided for different frequencies.
