Product Overview

The MMPC0402 Series High Current Molded Power Inductors are designed with carbonyl powder for a compact form factor, delivering high current capability with low DCR and high efficiency. These inductors operate effectively in frequency ranges up to 5MHz and are suitable for PC power systems, including IMVP-6 DC/DC converters. They offer very low acoustic noise and very low leakage flux noise, ensuring reliable performance in demanding applications. The series is RoHS compliant and operates within a temperature range of -40 to +125 (including self-temperature rise).

Life Test Preconditioning: IR reflow for 3 times. Temperature: 1252. Applied current: rated current. Duration: 100012hrs. Measured at room temperature after placing for 242 hrs.
Load Humidity Preconditioning: IR reflow for 3 times. Humidity: 852% RH, Temperature: 852. Duration: 1000hrs. Measured at room temperature after placing for 242 hrs.
Moisture Resistance Preconditioning: IR reflow for 3 times. Cycle: Baked at 50 for 25hrs, then 652 90-100%RH for 3hrs, cool down to 25, then 25 80-100%RH with vibration. Measured at room temperature.
Thermal Shock Preconditioning: IR reflow for 3 times. Condition for 1 cycle: -402 for 305min, then 1252 for 0.5min. Number of cycles: 500. Measured at room temperature after placing for 242 hrs.
