The MNR60 Series Wire Wound SMD Power Inductors are designed for high-performance applications requiring efficient power management. These inductors feature a magnetic-resin shielded construction for ultra-low buzz noise, metallization on the ferrite core for excellent shock resistance, and a closed magnetic circuit design to minimize leakage flux and EMI. Offering up to 30% higher current rating than conventional inductors of the same size, they optimize PCB real estate and power savings. Ideal for smart devices, automotive systems, telecommunications, and VR/AR applications.

Reliability Test

Test Item Specification Test Condition
Withstanding voltage test After test, inductors shall have no evidence of electrical and mechanical damage. AC voltage of 100V and AC current of 1mA applied between inductors terminal and core for 3 secs.
Resistance to soldering heat 1. Inductor shall have no evidence of electrical and mechanical damage. 2. Inductance shall not change more than 5%. 3. Q shall not change more than 20%. a. Temp: 2605 b. Time: 101.0 sec
Solderability test The terminal shall be at least 95% covered with solder. After fluxing, the terminal shall be dipped in a melted solder bath at 2455 for 41.0 secs.
High temperature & high humidity test The anti-erosion quality of the surface and the specimen's inductance shall not change from the initial value within 10% 1) Temp.:85, R.H.:85% 2) Time:1442 hours. The experimental component should be put at normal condition for 2 hours then to measure again after test.
Salt spray test - 1) Temp.:352 Time:482 hours 2) Salt solution PH:6.5~7.2. The experimental component should be put at normal condition for 2 hours then to measure again after test.
Vibration test 1. Inductance shall be within 10% of the initial value. 2. Appearance: no damage. a. Frequency: 10 to 55 Hz b. Amplitude: 1.5 mm c. Direction and time: X, Y and Z directions for 2 hours each.
Applied rated current - 1) Temp.:-55, time:303min 2) Temp.:+125, time: 303min 3) Cycles times:12 cycles. The experimental component should be put at normal condition for 2 hours then to measure again after test.
Free fall test No mechanical damage shall be noticed. Drop 5 times on a concrete floor from 1m height.
High Temperature resistance test - 1) Temp.:852 2) Test time:1000+24/-0H. The experimental component should be put at normal condition for 24 hours then to measure again after test.
Low temperature resistance test - 1) Temp.:-552 2) Test time:1000+24/-0H. The experimental component should be put at normal condition for 24 hours then to measure again after test.

Suggested storage period for lead-free product should not exceed 6 months.
