The MMPC1265 Series High Current Molded Power Inductors are designed for demanding applications requiring high current handling, low DCR, and high efficiency. Featuring a compact design with carbonyl powder core and very low acoustic noise, these inductors are ideal for PC power systems, including IMVP-6 DC/DC converters. They operate efficiently across a frequency range up to 5MHz and offer very low leakage flux noise, ensuring reliable performance in challenging environments. These inductors are RoHS compliant.

Reliability and Test Conditions
- Operating temperature: -40~+125 (Including self-temperature rise)
- Storage temperature: -10~+40, 50~60%RH (Product without taping); -40~+125 (on board)
- Life Test: 100012 hrs at 1252 with rated current.
- Load Humidity: 1000 hrs at 852% RH, 852.
- Moisture Resistance: Multi-step environmental testing including dry heat, humidity, and thermal cycling.
- Thermal shock: 500 cycles of -40 to 125.
- Vibration: 10Hz2KHz10Hz for 20 minutes, Total Amplitude: 10g.
- Bending: Specified bending depth on FR4 substrate.
- Shock: 3 shocks in each direction along 3 perpendicular axes (18 shocks) with specified peak value and duration.
Soldering and Mounting
- Recommended for re-flow soldering systems.
- Soldering Iron: Mildly activated rosin fluxes preferred. Preheat circuit and products to 150. Use a 20 watt soldering iron with tip diameter of 1.0mm, 355 tip temperature (max). Limit soldering time to 4~5sec.
- Resistance to Soldering Heat: Tested at 2605 for 101 seconds.
- Terminal Strength: Applied force to the side of the device mounted on a PCB.
