Testing Conditions

Unless otherwise specified, tests are conducted at ordinary temperature (5 to 35) and ordinary humidity (25 to 85% RH). In case of doubt, tests are performed at 202 and 60 to 75% RH, with atmospheric pressure between 86 to 106 kPa.

Test Instruments and Remarks

  • Inductance and DCR are tested using CHROMA 3302 meter.
  • Current is tested using CHROMA 3302 and 1320 meter.
  • Inductance test condition: 100KHz/1V.
  • Saturation Current (Isat): Based on inductance change (|LI-L|/L30%).
  • Temperature Rise Current (Irms): Based on temperature rise (T:40 TYP).

Operating Conditions

The part is allowed to operate within an ambient temperature range of -40 to +125.

Reliability Testing

Various reliability tests are performed including High temperature storage, Low temperature storage, Humidity test, Thermal shock test, Solderability test, Heat endurance of reflow soldering, Vibration test, Drop test, Terminal strength test, and Loading at High Temperature, with specific conditions and acceptance criteria outlined in the original document.

Recommended Soldering Conditions

The product can be used for flow and reflow soldering. Recommended conditions include using rosin-based flux and Sn solder. Specific pre-heating and cooling parameters for flow soldering, and reflow soldering profiles are detailed in the original document.
