Product Overview
The X2Y Series is a revolutionary surface-mount ceramic EMI filter capacitor designed for decoupling and filtering in integrated passive devices (IPD). These components integrate two Y-capacitors and one X-capacitor into a single 4-terminal device, available in standard MLCC sizes. Their unique multilayer construction enables noise cancellation, significantly reducing Equivalent Series Inductance (ESL) from nanohenry to picohenry levels. The balanced design of the Y-capacitors and the shielded multilayer structure provide superior decoupling and filtering performance, acting as a broadband filter effective up to 10 GHz and beyond. This results in fewer components, improved EMC compliance, and cost savings in assembly and board design.
