Important Usage Notes

Electrolytic capacitors require polarization. Reversed polarity can shorten life or damage the capacitor. Use bi-polarized capacitors for circuits with occasional or unknown polarity. Not suitable for AC applications.
Do not exceed the rated voltage. Peak voltage of AC superimposed on DC must not exceed the rated voltage.
Operate within permissible ripple current range. Request high ripple current capacitors if needed.
Use within the specified operating temperature range for optimal life.
Not suitable for circuits with frequent charge/discharge cycles. Consult engineering for assistance.
Apply voltage treatment to capacitors stored for extended periods (over 2-3 years at normal temperature) to prevent increased leakage current and potential damage.
Be careful of temperature and time when soldering (e.g.,
