Automotive Grade Hall Effect Sensor ALLEGRO A1104EUA-T Featuring Low Noise and Fast Power On Response
Allegro A1101-A1104 and A1106 Hall-Effect Switches
The Allegro A1101-A1104 and A1106 Hall-effect switches are advanced BiCMOS technology devices designed as replacements for the Allegro 312x and 314x series. These switches offer fast power-on times, low-noise operation, and increased switchpoint accuracy due to post-packaging programming that eliminates induced offsets. Their unique Hall element geometries and low-offset amplifiers minimize noise and residual offset voltage. Integrated components include a voltage regulator, Hall-voltage generator, small-signal amplifier, Schmitt trigger, and NMOS output transistor. The integrated voltage regulator supports operation from 3.8 to 24 V, and extensive on-board protection circuitry allows for a 30 V absolute maximum voltage rating, ideal for automotive and industrial motor commutation applications without external components. All devices in the family share identical functionality, differing only in magnetic switchpoint levels. The BiCMOS process enables ultra-small package sizes, with package LH being a miniature SOT23W surface-mount package and package UA a three-lead ultramini SIP for through-hole mounting. All packages are lead (Pb) free with 100% matte-tin-plated leadframes.
