The A3213 and A3214 are ultra-sensitive, pole-independent Hall-effect switches with a latched digital output. Designed for battery-operated, hand-held equipment like cell phones and palmtop computers, they offer micropower operation with a unique clocking scheme that significantly reduces average power consumption. Their polarity independence allows them to replace reed switches, offering superior reliability and simplifying manufacturing. Chopper stabilization ensures improved stability by minimizing offset voltage caused by overmolding, temperature variations, and thermal stress.
