Product Overview
The A3290 and A3291 are extremely temperature-stable and stress-resistant Hall-effect latches designed for operation over extended temperature ranges up to 125C. They feature dynamic offset cancellation for superior high-temperature performance, reducing residual offset voltage caused by overmolding, temperature dependencies, and thermal stress. These devices are not intended for automotive applications. They integrate a voltage regulator, Hall voltage generator, amplifier, chopper stabilization, Schmitt trigger, and a short-circuit protected open-drain output capable of sinking up to 25 mA. Operation requires a south polarity magnetic field to turn the output on and a north polarity field to turn it off. They support supply voltages from 3 to 24 V and are available in miniature SOT23W (LH) and ultramini SIP (UA) packages. Both packages are lead (Pb) free with 100% matte-tin leadframe plating.
