Designed for battery-operated, hand-held equipment, they offer micropower operation with low average power requirements due to a unique clocking scheme. Their polarity independence allows them to replace reed switches, offering superior reliability and ease of manufacturing without the need for signal conditioning. Chopper stabilization ensures improved stability by reducing residual offset voltage.
