Hall Effect Sensor ALLEGRO APS12202LUAA Featuring Chopper Stabilization and Short Circuit Protection
Product Overview
The APS12202 and APS12212 are highly temperature-stable and stress-resistant Hall-effect latch sensor ICs, ideal for operation in extended temperature ranges up to 150C. They feature dynamic offset cancellation for superior high-temperature performance, reducing residual offset voltage caused by overmolding, temperature dependencies, and thermal stress. Both devices integrate a voltage regulator, Hall voltage generator, amplifier, chopper stabilization, Schmitt trigger, and a short-circuit protected open-drain output capable of sinking up to 25 mA. Activation requires a south polarity magnetic field to turn the output ON, and a north polarity field to turn it OFF. They operate from supply voltages of 3 to 24 V and are available in SOT23W (LH) and SIP (UA) package styles, both lead-free with matte-tin plating.
