The APS12450 is a three-wire planar Hall-effect sensor IC designed for automotive safety-related systems, compliant with ISO 26262:2011 for ASIL B capability. It features an enhanced three-wire interface with interconnect diagnostics and a fault state for diagnostic communication. Continuous background diagnostics are transparent to the host system, reducing fault tolerant time. The sensor offers multiple product options for magnetic switchpoints, temperature coefficient, and output polarity, compatible with various magnet types. It is suitable for applications requiring a functionally equivalent three-wire switch device.
