Product Overview
The Allegro™ A1101-A1104 and A1106 Hall-effect switches are advanced BiCMOS technology devices designed as replacements for the 312x and 314x series. They offer fast power-on time, low-noise operation, and increased switchpoint accuracy due to post-packaging programming. These switches integrate a voltage regulator, Hall-voltage generator, amplifier, Schmitt trigger, and NMOS output transistor on a single silicon chip, allowing operation from 3.8 to 24 V. Extensive on-board protection provides a ±30 V absolute maximum voltage rating, suitable for automotive and industrial motor commutation without external components. The family offers identical devices with varying magnetic switchpoint levels and is available in ultrasmall packages, including SOT23W (LH) and SIP (UA) styles, with lead-free, matte-tin-plated leadframes.
