Product Overview
The APS12625 and APS12626 are dual ultrasensitive Hall-effect latches designed for ring magnet applications. They offer 2D magnetic sensing with vertical and planar Hall elements, providing 90 phase separation independent of magnet pole spacing and air gap. This flexibility eliminates the need for target optimization. The APS12625 provides Speed and Direction outputs, while the APS12626 offers quadrature outputs (Channel A/B). A unique power-cycling restoration feature (-P option) prevents lost counts/pulses. These devices are ISO 26262:2011 / ASIL A compliant, operate from 2.8 to 5.5 V, and are automotive grade qualified per AEC-Q100 for operation up to 175C.
