Color matching spectral sensor AMS AS7341-DLGT with 11 optical channels and near infrared detection
Product Overview
The AS7341 is an 11-channel spectral sensor frontend designed for spectral identification and color matching in mobile devices. It covers wavelengths from approximately 350nm to 1000nm, with 8 optical channels in the visible spectrum, one near-infrared (NIR) channel, and one clear channel. The device integrates filters using Nano-optic deposited interference filter technology on standard CMOS silicon and includes a built-in aperture. It features independent ADCs for parallel processing of 6 channels and a multiplexer for others. The AS7341 also incorporates a dedicated channel for 50Hz or 60Hz ambient light flicker detection, with the capability to buffer data for external flicker frequency calculations. The NIR channel can assist in ambient light source detection. Control and spectral data access are managed via an IC interface. The device is available in an ultra-low profile package.
