Product Overview
The TCS3408 is an Ambient Light and Color (ALS/Color) Sensor with Selective Flicker Detection. It offers concurrent ambient light sensing across Red, Green, Blue, Clear, and Wideband channels, enabling accurate measurement of illuminance, chromaticity, and color temperature for display management. The device also integrates direct detection of 50Hz or 60Hz ambient light flicker, operating in parallel with ALS/Color sensing and featuring independent gain configuration. Its low-profile, small footprint package makes it suitable for various display and camera applications, including brightness and color management, camera image processing, and flicker-immune camera operation.
