Product Overview

The ams OSRAM AS7343 is a highly versatile, 14-channel multi-purpose spectral sensor designed for a wide range of consumer, commercial, industrial, and laboratory applications. It excels in reflective, transmissive, and emissive measurements, including color matching, fluid or reagent analysis, lateral flow tests, and spectral identification within the visible range. The sensor features 11 channels centered in the visible spectrum (VIS), one near-infrared (NIR) channel, and a clear channel, with a spectral response covering approximately 380 nm to 1000 nm. It integrates high-precision optical filters on standard CMOS silicon using deposited interference filter technology, a built-in aperture for accuracy, and a programmable digital GPIO and LED driver for light source and trigger/sync control. Device control and data access are managed via an IC interface. The AS7343 is available in an ultra-low profile package measuring 3.1 mm x 2 mm x 1 mm.
