Product Overview
The BDH8182 is a high-sensitivity, integrated Hall-effect latched sensor designed for the electronic commutation of brushless DC motor applications. It features an on-chip Hall voltage generator, a comparator for Hall voltage amplification, and a Schmitt trigger for noise rejection and hysteresis. The device includes an internal bandgap regulator for temperature-compensated supply voltage, enabling a wide operating supply range. It activates the output when a sufficiently strong north pole is detected and deactivates it in the absence of a magnetic field. The BDH8182 is available in TO-92S-3 and SOT-23-3 packages.
