The Cantherm thermal motor protector, also known as a temperature limiter or thermal cut-out, is designed for reliable overcurrent and overtemperature protection of motors, transformers, coils, and electronic components. Its compact dimensions, shock and vibration resistance, and suitability for audio/video applications (EN 60065) make it a versatile solution. Available in normally closed (NC) and normally open (NO) configurations, these devices offer robust performance with a high number of switching cycles under rated and failure conditions.
