Product Description
The AH1807 is a medium sensitivity, micropower Omnipolar Hall Effect switch IC designed for battery-powered consumer products, home appliances, and industrial equipment. It offers a reliable solution for applications like smart meter magnetic tamper detection. Optimized for battery and low-power applications, it operates from 2.5V to 5.5V and consumes only 24W at 3V. The single open-drain output switches on with either a North or South pole of sufficient strength, turning on when magnetic flux density exceeds the operate point (Bop) and turning off when it drops below the release point (Brp). The output remains off in the absence of a magnetic field. Available in SC59, SOT553, and SIP-3L packages.
