AH180 MicroPower Omnipolar Hall-Effect Sensor Switch
The AH180 is a micro-power Omnipolar Hall-Effect switch designed for portable and battery-powered equipment such as cellular phones, PDAs, and portable PCs. It utilizes two Hall-Effect plates and a chopper-stabilized architecture for reliable performance across its operating range. Optimized for low power consumption, it operates from a 2.5V to 5.5V supply and consumes only 24W at 3V. The single open-drain output activates with either a north or south pole of sufficient strength. Applications include cover switches in clam-shell cellular phones and notebook PCs/PDAs, and contactless switches in consumer products.
