Product Description

AH374 Single Phase Hall Effect Latch

The AH374 is an integrated Hall-Effect latched sensor designed for electronic commutation of brush-less DC motor applications. It features an on-chip Hall voltage generator, a comparator for Hall voltage amplification, and a Schmitt trigger for noise rejection. The device provides an open-drain output and operates over a wide supply voltage range with temperature compensation. When magnetic flux density exceeds the operate point (BOP), the output is switched on (pulled low). The output remains on until the magnetic flux density reversal falls below the release point (BRP), at which time the output switches off. The AH374 is suitable for applications such as brush-less DC motors, brush-less DC fans, revolution counting, and speed measurement.
