GX21M15 (GX75B) Digital Temperature Sensor with Watchdog Function
The GX21M15 is a temperature-to-digital converter featuring an on-chip bandgap temperature sensor and - A/D conversion technology with overheat detection output. It includes configuration, temperature, and setpoint registers accessible via a 2-wire serial IC bus interface. The device offers an open-drain OS output for overheat alerts and supports up to 8 devices on a single bus with its 3 logic address pins. It can be configured for normal or shutdown modes, with the OS output operating in either comparator or interrupt mode. The temperature resolution is 0.125, making it suitable for precise thermal drift or runaway measurements. The GX21M15 is pin-compatible with industry-standard LM75 and LM75A, operates from a 2.8 V to 5.5 V supply, and offers a wide temperature range of -55 to +125. Its applications include system thermal management, personal computers, and industrial controllers.
