The AH277A is an integrated Hall effect latch with complementary open-collector output drivers, designed for electronic commutation in brushless DC motor applications. It features an on-chip Hall sensor, amplifier, Schmitt trigger for noise rejection, and temperature compensation. The device provides two complementary outputs (DO and DOB) that switch based on magnetic flux density, with hysteresis for reliable operation. It includes an internal band-gap regulator for bias voltage and offers reversed supply voltage protection.
