Product Description
The GH1248 is an ultra-sensitive Hall-effect switch featuring a digital latched output, primarily designed for battery-operated, handheld equipment. It utilizes a special CMOS process for low-voltage and low-power requirements. A chopper-stabilized amplifier enhances the stability of magnetic switch points. The integrated sleep-awake logic controls the IC's power consumption, reducing average operating current. During the awake time, the output responds to magnetic flux density. In sleep mode, the output remains latched in its previous state, significantly reducing current consumption to a few microamperes. The IC's switching behavior is omnipolar, meaning either a north or south pole of sufficient strength will activate the output. The output turns on when the magnetic flux density exceeds the operating point (BOP) and turns off when it falls below the releasing point (BRP).
