Linear Hall sensor Hangzhou Ruimeng Tech MS1820 with proportional output and mechanical stress compensation
Product Overview
The MS1820 is a programmable linear Hall sensor with an analog output independent of the power supply. It is suitable for magnetic field measurement, current measurement, and mechanical motion detection, including precise angle or distance sensing. Key parameters such as magnetic field range, sensitivity, offset voltage, and temperature coefficients can be programmed and stored in non-volatile memory. An integrated customer data register allows for storing product-specific information. The sensor features a temperature-compensated Hall element, chopper module, ADC, DSP, EEPROM with rewrite and lock functions, programming modules, a proportional linear output, and protection circuits. The internal DSP compensates for analog offset, temperature variations, and mechanical stress to ensure high performance. Programming is achieved via the power supply voltage, eliminating the need for an extra programming pin. A simple 2-point calibration method allows for individual sensor adjustment to compensate for magnetic pole and mechanical characteristics. The Hall chip's temperature compensation can be fine-tuned by adjusting the first and second-order temperature coefficients of sensitivity, ensuring high accuracy across the operating temperature range.
