Product Description
The HX6388 is a programmable linear Hall sensor chip manufactured using BiCMOS technology. It outputs a voltage proportional to the magnetic flux density. Programmable parameters include quiescent voltage, sensitivity, polarity, clamping voltage, and sensitivity temperature drift compensation, all adjustable by the user. The device features open-circuit, over-voltage, and under-voltage detection. Multiple HX6388 devices can share a common bus, allowing individual calibration without interference. Programming is achieved by modulating the supply voltage, eliminating the need for an extra programming pin, which facilitates two-point calibration. The integrated temperature compensation circuit adjusts the output based on written temperature coefficients, enabling compatibility with most common magnetic materials and ensuring high accuracy across the entire temperature range.
