Product Overview
The KP216K1409 is a miniaturized Analog Manifold Air Pressure Sensor IC utilizing a capacitive principle and surface micromachining technology with integrated BiCMOS signal conditioning. It converts pressure into an analog output signal, with a calibrated transfer function mapping 15 kPa to 115 kPa to a 0.5 V to 4.5 V range. This sensor offers high precision pressure sensing ( 1.0 kPa), ratiometric analog output, a wide temperature range (-40 C to 140 C), broken wire detection, and clamping. It is automotive qualified and housed in a "green" 8-pin SMD package. Primarily developed for manifold air pressure measurement, it is also suitable for industrial control, consumer electronics, medical applications, weather stations, and altimeters.
