The TLE4966G is a high-precision Hall-effect switch designed for applications requiring accurate speed and direction detection. It operates over a wide supply voltage range (2.7 V to 24 V) and is built for robust performance with features like Active Error Compensation for high resistance to mechanical stress and superior temperature stability, allowing peak temperatures up to 195C without damage. The device provides digital output signals for both speed and direction, with the direction signal indicating rotation direction before the speed signal is generated. Its excellent matching between the two Hall probes and a Hall plate distance of 1.45 mm contribute to its high accuracy.
