The LTR-381RGB-01 is an integrated low voltage I2C ambient light sensor (ALS) and a color sensor (CS) in a miniature 2x2mm ChipLED surface mount package. It features an advanced RGB color sensor that converts light intensity (Red, Green, Blue, and IR) into a digital output signal with direct I2C interface capability. The ALS offers a linear response across a wide dynamic range, suitable for varying ambient brightness conditions. The sensor includes a programmable interrupt with hysteresis to enhance system efficiency by eliminating the need for constant polling. Its CMOS design and factory-set trimming ensure minimal sensor-to-sensor variation.
