Product Overview
The MT6816 is a next-generation, high-resolution, high-speed magnetic angle encoder IC from Magntek, leveraging advanced Anisotropic Magnetoresistance (AMR) technology. It offers 0-360 absolute angle position detection with 14-bit output resolution and supports rotational speeds up to 25,000 RPM. With a system latency of less than 2 s and an operating temperature range of -40C to 125C, the MT6816 is designed for demanding applications. It provides flexible output options including incremental ABZ, incremental UVW, PWM absolute value, and SPI bus output. The device is AECQ-100 certified, making it suitable for automotive and industrial applications such as DC brushless motor control, servo motor control, and as a replacement for traditional optical encoders.
