Product Overview
The MagnTek MT6501 is an advanced AMR (Anisotropic Magnetoresistance) magnetic sensing technology-based rotary position sensor. It offers contactless, full-range (0~360) angle measurement with programmable measurement range and linear transfer characteristics. The sensor provides selectable analog (ratiometric), PWM (Pulse Width Modulation), or Switch Output (SWO) with 12-bit DAC/PWM resolution. It features a 1-Wire program interface and a 3-Wire SPI interface, along with over-voltage and over-current protection. The MT6501 is suitable for applications requiring precise angular position sensing, such as contactless potentiometers, steering wheel position sensors, and pedal position sensors.
