Product Overview
The MagnTek MT6501 is an advanced magnetic angle position sensor IC utilizing AMR sensing technology for 0 to 360 full-range angle sensing. It offers contactless, programmable measurement range, and programmable linear transfer characteristics. The device supports selectable analog (ratiometric), PWM (Pulse Width Modulation), or Switch (SWO) outputs with 12-bit DAC/PWM resolution. Featuring 1-Wire and 3-Wire SPI interfaces, over-voltage, and over-current protection, the MT6501 is ideal for applications such as contactless potentiometers, steering wheel position sensors, pedal position sensors, and throttle position sensors. Its design is robust against magnet variations, stray magnetic fields, air gap changes, and off-axis misalignment.
