Ultra digital thermal orientation sensor MEMSIC MXC6255XC with chip scale package and I2C interface
Product Overview
The MEMSIC MXC6255XC is a fully integrated, ultra-low-cost digital thermal orientation sensor with a chip-scale package. Utilizing patented MEMS-thermal technology and a standard 0.18um CMOS process, it offers robust orientation detection, shake detection with programmable thresholds and direction, and X/Y axis acceleration sensing. Its ball-less design eliminates reliability and repeatability issues, as well as audible "click" sounds common in other orientation sensors. The device features an I2C interface for communication and an interrupt pin for event notifications, with a power-down mode for energy efficiency. It boasts high shock survival and operates over a wide supply voltage range.
