The MC3416 is a compact, integrated digital output 3-axis accelerometer designed for motion sensing in cell phones and consumer products. It offers features optimized for user interface control, gaming input, and electronic compass tilt compensation. Its monolithic fabrication integrates the MEMS accelerometer and electronics on a single chip, ensuring low power consumption and small size. The MC3416 supports internal sample rates from 128 to 1024 samples/second and allows status reading via polling or interrupts.
