OMRON D6T MEMS Thermal Sensors
The OMRON D6T MEMS Thermal Sensors offer contactless temperature measurement by detecting the surface temperature of objects without direct contact. Utilizing a thermopile element that absorbs radiant energy, these sensors can detect even the slightest temperature changes. Key advantages include a direct temperature value output for simplified software design and world-class stable temperature output, minimizing past issues with instability in high-precision applications. The sensors achieve high precision and low noise by combining in-house designed and manufactured ASIC and MEMS components, with a product structure that detects wavelengths in the 8-12 m range. They are suitable for a wide range of applications, including home appliances, human presence detection, fever screening, and abnormal high-temperature monitoring.
