The FC-H2-1000 Long-Life Hydrogen Sensor utilizes a micro fuel cell principle for detection. Hydrogen gas molecules reach the core detection unit via natural diffusion and concentration polarization, undergoing oxidation at the positive electrode while oxygen is reduced at the negative electrode. This closed-loop reaction generates a current directly proportional to the hydrogen gas concentration, enabling accurate quantitative measurement. This passive sensor boasts zero power consumption, low noise, high detection accuracy, long lifespan, and excellent resistance to interference and poisoning across a wide temperature range.
