Product Overview
The ICU-30201 is a miniature, ultra-low power, ultra-long-range ultrasonic Time-of-Flight (ToF) transceiver from InvenSense, a TDK Group Company. Utilizing TDK's patented MEMS technology, it integrates a 53kHz PMUT with a 2nd generation ultra-low power SoC in a reflowable package. This system-in-package offers ease of use for external host processors, processing raw sensor readings into high-level signals like range or presence detection. It communicates via SPI at up to 13MHz and supports 1.8V or 3.3V I/O. The ICU-30201 provides accurate range measurements up to 9m, works in all lighting conditions, and is insensitive to target color or transparency. Its customizable Field of View (FoV) allows for simultaneous multi-object detection, making it suitable for various applications.
