VISHAY VCNL4030X01-GS08 proximity sensor with ambient light sensing and infrared emitter in compact QFN package
Product Overview
The VCNL4030X01 is a fully integrated proximity and ambient light sensor with an infrared emitter, I2C interface, and interrupt function. It combines photodiodes, amplifiers, and analog-to-digital converting circuits into a single chip. The device features a 16-bit high-resolution ambient light sensor (ALS) and a proximity sensor (PS) with intelligent cancellation and smart persistence. Both ALS and PS offer programmable interrupts with individual high and low thresholds for power savings. The patented FiltronTM technology ensures close spectral sensitivity to human eye responses and effective background light cancellation. It operates from 2.5 V to 3.6 V and is packaged in a lead-free 8-pin QFN package.
