Product Overview

The VEML6031X00 is a high-accuracy, 16-bit resolution ambient light sensor from Vishay Semiconductors. Housed in a miniature 2.67 mm x 2.45 mm package, it features a sensitive photodiode, a low-noise amplifier, and a 16-bit A/D converter. It supports an easy-to-use I2C bus communication interface and an additional interrupt feature, providing ambient light results as a digital value. Designed with FiltronTM technology for human eye response, it offers a wide dynamic range from 0 lx to 228 klx with excellent temperature compensation and a typical ALS output tolerance of 10%.
