Toroidal transformers use magnetic cores with a toroidal (ring or donut) shape. These passive electronic components consist of a circular magnetic core made from ferromagnetic materials such as laminated iron, iron powder, or ferrite, around which wire is wound. The symmetrical design provides excellent electrical performance with minimal electromagnetic interference.
