Model CP-63A Pipeline Oil Contamination Detection Sensor
This device consists of an oil detection chamber, a capacitive alarm switch, a ball valve, and associated piping components. It is installed within a vessel's cooling water pipeline to detect the presence of oil entrained in the flow and to generate an alarm signal. The capacitive alarm switch is mounted in the upper section of the oil detection chamber, with its sensing head positioned in the vicinity of the residual fluid outlet globe valve. When the throttling plate is set to the throttling position, water from the pipeline enters the detection chamber; if oil is present in the water, it will float to the surface and accumulate at the sensing head of the alarm switch, triggering the switch to output an oil contamination alarm signal.
