R·G-258 Weak Acid Zinc Nickel Alloy Plating Process For Communication Precision Parts
RG-258 is a weak acid zinc-nickel alloy plating process with nickel content of 12%–15%. It is specially applicable for:
- Plating cast iron parts such as brake pads in automotive industry
- Plating fasteners including screws, nuts and bolts
- Extremely high corrosion resistance, greatly improving the performance of conventional zinc coatings. Nickel content remains highly uniform across a wide current density range.
- Only mild complexing agents are used with no ammonia. Fast metal deposition initiation, excellent adhesion, high hardness and superior wear resistance.
- All additives of RG-258 fully comply with RoHS regulations, free of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB and PBDE.
- Suitable for rack plating and barrel plating.
