This product is specifically designed for the BYD472QA 1.5L naturally aspirated engine in the BYD Qin PLUS DM-i. It is a critical rubber hose connecting the engine cooling system to the oil cooler—the oil cooler inlet hose. This hose is responsible for delivering coolant pressurized by the water pump to the oil cooler, where heat exchange with the hot engine oil occurs, removing excess heat and maintaining the oil temperature within the optimal operating range (85-95°C). It is a key component ensuring stable operation of the engine lubrication system.

The BYD Qin PLUS DM-i features a forced circulation water-cooled system. The oil cooler inlet hose is located in the engine compartment, connecting the water pump outlet line to the oil cooler inlet port. This product is developed and manufactured strictly according to BYD OEM technical standards, using EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) material, offering excellent high/low temperature resistance, coolant corrosion resistance, aging resistance, and flexibility. The product is IATF 16949 certified and passes rigorous airtightness and pressure pulse tests, providing direct replacement for aged or damaged original hoses to restore proper cooling system operation.
